Philippe TUZZOLINO

A telecom engineer by training, he has been in charge of the Environment and Climate policy for the Orange Group since 2006. He sets out climate change policies and reduction targets for the Group’s overall footprint (Orange is present for businesses in 163 countries). As head of the carbon Footprint reduction, he has participated in pilots testing methodologies for energy consumption and the carbon footprint of the ICT sector in relation with the European Commission’s DG CONNECT. He is significantly involved in the ITU-T Environment and Climate Change Study Group in which’s standards and methodologies he has participated in order to ensure that the ITcs sector complies with IPCC recommendations to help remain below 1.5 degrees Celsius and he also actively participated in COP21 in Paris. During 2 years, he held the Chair of the Industry Associations Group Department of thee Industry’s Strategic Materials Committee. Prior to joining the Orange Group, Mr. Tuzzolino held several positions on strategic innovation projects at la Poste’s General Direction and in the French Ministry of Defence.
