Christine ALBANEL

A modern letters associate, she has a short teaching experience that has reinforced her attraction to culture. Jacques Chirac’s speechwriter for many years, she was an advisor for Culture and Education at the Elysée Before joining the State Council. In July 2003, Christine Albanel was appointed as President of the Versailles Public Establishment before becoming the Minister of Culture and Communication in 2007.
Upon leaving the Government, she declined Villa Medicis, preferring the culture of content within Orange, which she joined in 2010. Christine has large experience in public affairs, particularly in the cultural domain, and a strong sensitivity to societal issues. She is also the author of three plays performed in Paris as well as of a novel published by Flammarion.
Christine Albanel is Orange’s Executive Director, in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity and Solidarity, and the Executive President of the Orange Foundation.
